What is a Reverse Pitch?
A Reverse Pitch is an event that turns the table on entrepreneurs by asking organizations to pitch the problems they want teams to solve and offer a pathway to resources, mentorship and funding. Local entrepreneurs have the opportunity to collaborate on groundbreaking work that could impact major industries and communities across the nation.
Organizers and sponsors are looking for talented individuals and teams with backgrounds and interests in design, coding, communication, technology, education, and entrepreneurship.
What qualifies as a solution?
The are four Reverse Pitch problem statements are shown below.
We expect each solution will be unique, but ALL solutions must answer the challenge with a proposal that requires the use of high bandwidth, low latency, security features of gigabit fiber infrastructure and clustered cloud computing.
Round One is an Online Competition:
// Describe your solution in less than 200 words.
// Qualify your team and their relevant accomplishments.
// What is your proposed technology stack?
// Proposed budget or use of funds?
// What key resources are required?
The challenge is to leverage advanced technologies that require performance characteristics of low latency networks, ultra high speed networks, secure IoT networks, software defined networks, high definition video and imaging, and/or new algorithms to address early detection, early response solutions, and predictive, real-time data analysis.
